An appliance for liquid cooling of the shell of cylinder of combustion engine in the mode of surface boiling has circular chamber formed by the shell of the cylinder and the wall of the cylinder block, in the circular chamber there is installed a surrounding the cylinder shell bushing, cylindrical or conical in shape, with long separating ribs placed in parallel to the axis of the cylinder shell and being in contact with it. The separating ribs are made circular, with openings for passage of the cooling liquid; at that the separating ribs, not less than three, are placed normally to the axis of the shell of the cylinder, at least two ribs - nearer to the ends of the surrounding plug. At the and ribs, nearer to the ends of the surrounding plug, movable with respect to the axis of the cylinder continuous circular bibs are placed, those are connected to each other by long beams with springs and control nuts for synchronous opening and closing of the openings of the separating ribs nearer to the ends of the surrounding plug. |
