发明名称 METHOD FOR DETERMINING OPTIMAL DISTANCE IN SPRAYING COATING
摘要 The proposed method for determining optimal distance between the sprayer and the surface in applying coating to the surface by flame spraying consists in measuring the distance between the sprayer and the point which is located at the axis of the sprayed metal stream and in which the increase of the temperature of the metal particles terminates, and the maximal value of the characteristic that define the dependence of the temperature of the metal particles on the distance from the distance to the surface is achieved. The position of the said point is determined by the maximal intensity of the radiation that is emitted by the metal particles within a narrow radiation wavelength range, which is distinctive from the wavelength range of the radiation emitted by the combustion products of the gas mix that is used for the flame spraying. The proposed method provides a possibility to simplify the operations and decrease the labor content of the operations that are required for determining the optimal distance.
