The method for purification of mannose-specific lectins comprises the affine chromatography in sorbents containing D-mannose. For purification, the gel obtained by co-polymerization of the partially hydrolyzed starch and yeast mannane is used. For desorption of lectins, 0.1 M potassium-borate buffer pH 8.2 is used at the temperature of +40 DEGREE C.
