Dissolving soluble constituents of textile fabrics. F--. whereby a mechanical means of moving a length of folded fabric immersed in solvent in such a way as to dissolve materials no longer required., e.g. the base material of embroidery. The fabric is in the form of a bundle of several layers which is subjected to oscillator in a vertical plane, and is contained in a square section holder which is guided by roller-type guides in vertical movement. A system of annular guide parts permit effective currents in the solvent to be obtained.
