A control circuit (1) for a rectifier for LED signal comprises a rectifier (2) and unit (3) to measure the primary current (I) with at least one primary side resistance (R5) switchable though (11) and electronic switch (S5) to reduce the primary current. A control (4) operates the electronic switches in accordance with the measured primary current. An independent claim is also included for a test process for the functioning of the above circuit. |
