<p>Floor covering for a motor vehicle comprises a covering (44) and at least one fixing arrangement (56'') for fixing an additional mat (42) to the covering. The fixing arrangement has a first fixing element (20) removably connected to a complementary second fixing element (60) provided on the additional mat. The first fixing element is inserted in the covering and its distal end facing upward is arranged at the highest on a plane with the pile side of the covering. An Independent claim is also included for an additional mat for a motor vehicle.
