The device has a frame (1) on which a table (2) is fixed. The table is provided with a jig (3) having plane and hollow parts (10, 9) to position and to maintain pre-folded strips (4) by vacuum lifting beams (5). A movable gantry crane supports a thermofusible glue reservoir, and moves along the frame based on a cycle programmed by an automaton controlling removal of hot glue on plane parts (10 bis) of strips.
