A simple method for mounting ski bindings onto a ski has the front or rear binding (1) fitted with a support plate (8) secured to the ski by four threaded fasteners. Two fasteners (10, 11) are set into fixed holes at the same spacing as the sockets in the ski. The other two fasteners are set into slots set at angles to the ski axis and with elastic inserts. This allows the threaded fasteners to be set at a spacing to match the sockets in the ski, i.e. the mounting can be applied to skis with either uniform socket spacing and with different spacing for the front and rear parts of the binding. |
