<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image protective sheet of a thermal transfer type, capable of providing a protective layer which, even if it is formed on a body to be transferred, does not bring about the rainbow irregularity. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal transfer type, image protective sheet has a thermally transferable protective layer on at least part of one surface of a substrate sheet, wherein the protective layer is composed of a resin having a refractive index of <1.5 and formed by coating so that the coating amount of the protective layer after drying may become at least 3.0 g/m<SP>2</SP>or wherein the protective layer is composed of a resin having a refractive index of ≥1.5 and <1.55 and formed by coating so that the coating amount after drying may become ≥1.5 g/m<SP>2</SP>and <3.0 g/m<SP>2</SP>or wherein the protective layer is composed of a resin having a refractive index of ≥1.55 and formed by coating so that the coating amount after drying may become ≥0.5 g/m<SP>2</SP>and <3.0 g/m<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
