DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS PROVIDED WITH SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device capable of excluding user's information from objects to be displayed in accordance with a user's request in the case of displaying candidates of a user name or the like on a display device when at least a part of the user name or the like is inputted, and provide an image forming apparatus provided with the display control device.

SOLUTION: The display control device is provided with an extraction means 8 for extracting candidates of a character string to be retrieved when at least a part of the character string to be retrieved such as a user name is inputted, a display control means 8 for displaying the candidates of the character string to be retrieved which are extracted by the extraction means 8 on the display apparatus 132 and a setting means 8 capable of setting permission/rejection in each character string to be retrieved. The display control means 8 excludes the character string to be retrieved of which the display rejection is set by the setting means 8 from the objects to be displayed.
