PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of outputting sounds at a preferred sound volume level set for each channel without performing a complicated operation. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a sound output unit 18, a sound volume level memory 17 for storing sound volume level data Dv of sounds from the unit 18, and a sound control unit 16 for controlling the unit 18. The memory 17 is configured so as to be capable of storing the sound volume level data Dv for each channel. When channel selection is performed, the unit 16 executes sound volume control in which the sound volume level data Dv corresponding to the selected channel is read from a storage unit and the sounds of the selected channel are output from the unit 18 at the sound volume level based on the sound volume level data Dv.
