PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient private telephone system in which power consumption is reduced at the time of standby while reflecting actual use condition of each individual telephone. SOLUTION: At the time of power supply control of each telephone constituting a private telephone system, alteration is made automatically to power supply control conditions reflecting use condition of each individual telephone according to a fixed criterion for judging whether current power supply control conditions are altered or not.
