PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus performing data communication using a call control program in which account information such as IP telephone number can be altered smoothly by remote operation among a plurality of communication apparatuses. SOLUTION: The communication apparatus 1A performs data communication using an SIP and comprises a means for receiving designation of account information, a means requesting an SIP server 21 for the positional information of an apparatus 1B for registering the designated account information, and a means for requesting the apparatus 1B of positional information received from the SIP server 21 for alteration of the account information.
