PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast data reproducing apparatus, method, and program capable of viewing a CM broadcast program congenial to the preference of a viewer at a low cost without troubling the viewer. SOLUTION: In a node 1-3 acting like the broadcast data reproducing apparatus, a CPU as an interruption range detection means 53 can instruct a switching means 54 to carry out a reproduction switching operation, activates the switching means 54 when detecting an interruption range on the basis of marker information included in a broadcast data stream to reproduce interruption broadcast packet data 21 read by a selection means 55. Further, the CPU as the interruption range detection means 53 gives a switching instruction to the switching means 54 to reproduce the broadcast data stream when detecting main broadcast packet data other than the interruption range.
