摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid drop ejector capable of controlling the discharge performance and influence on ejection of a bubble in a liquid channel statistically (independently from fluidity of the liquid), and to provide a method for discharging a bubble in the liquid channel easily, and a liquid drop ejection method of a liquid drop ejector capable of suppressing poor ejection due to a bubble. SOLUTION: An ejection head 116 is contained in a first chamber 13, a liquid container 130a is contained in a second chamber 14 and both chambers communicate with a high pressure tub 17 and a vacuum tub 18. Back pressure in a liquid channel 12 is brought into a high or low pressure state as compared with the atmospheric pressure while sustaining the liquid 11 in steady state (nonfluidic state) by controlling the pressure in both chambers by means of a pressure controller 23. State (size) of a bubble in the liquid channel 12 is thereby varied and discharge performance of bubble is enhanced or poor ejection is suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
