PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk reproducing apparatus which can reproduce audio data together with a still picture from a resume position even without video data at the resume position when the data composed of video data and audio data of the still picture are stopped during reproduction. SOLUTION: When reproduction is stopped, an address of a navigation pack at a resume position and an address of a navigation pack with video are obtained. And both addresses are not coincident, first, video data of the address of the navigation pack with video is reproduced and the still picture is displayed on a display apparatus, after that, the address to be reproduced is replaced to the address of the navigation pack at the resume position from the address of the navigation pack with video, reproduction is performed from audio data existing in the replaced address.
