PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict collision possibility considering a decline of determination accuracy of collision possibility based on a plurality of factors of running environment and running state of an own vehicle, and not to occur as much as possible the forecast mistake of collision possibility under active running environment. SOLUTION: This system determines collision possibility of an obstacle such as a preceding vehicle ahead of an own vehicle and the own vehicle 1 based on monitoring of front of the own vehicle by a radar installation 2 and detection monitoring of running state of the own vehicle 1, calculates individual reliability of determination result of collision possibility based on each of present values of each running index from reliability characteristic of judgement result of collision possibility set to every plurality of running indexes related to running environment and running state of the own vehicle 1, decides total reliability of the determination result totaling each individual reliability, revises the determination result according to the total reliability, and forecasts collision possibility of the obstacle and the own vehicle 1 from the determination result after revision.
