PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing apparatus with illumination in which the directions of an infrared illumination apparatus and a photographing apparatus main body can be simply and accurately controlled. SOLUTION: The photographing apparatus comprises the infrared illumination apparatus 22 in which an LED group loading substrate 12 or the like is loaded and an object 19 to be photographed is irradiated with infrared light 20 and the photographing apparatus main body 24 for photographing the object 19 to be photographed which is irradiated with the infrared light 20. A laser emitting element 30 for emitting a laser beam 28 in almost the same direction as the irradiating direction of infrared light 20 from the infrared illumination apparatus 22 is arranged on the LED group loading substrate 12 or the like. Alternatively, an imaging element for photographing the irradiating direction of infrared light from the infrared illumination apparatus 22 is arranged on the LED group loading substrate 12 or the like and an image photographed by the photographing apparatus body 24 and an image photographed by the imaging element are displayed in parallel on a monitor display.
