PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilator with enhanced power saving performance carrying out proper ventilation in response to conditions of a room. SOLUTION: A ventilator 1 for air supply provided with a fan motor 6 for air supply, and a ventilator 2 for exhaust provided with a fan motor 11 for exhaust are provided in the room. When a window 3 is opened and closed, indoor air current change is detected by indoor air current change detecting means provided in the fan motor 6 for air supply and fan motor 11 for exhaust, and by stopping either one of the fan motor 11 for exhaust or the fan motor 6 for air supply on the basis of a detection result, a balance is realized between energy saving of the fan motors, and efficient air supply and exhaust responding to a situation of the room.
