PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin powder excellent in heat resistance as a powder coating material in the powder coating method using polyethylene as the major component. SOLUTION: The ethylene resin powder coating material for powder coating is obtained from (1) 100 pts. mass ethylene resin containing≥30 mass% ethylene polymer produced by using a single site catalyst and (2) 0.6-3 pts. mass hydrophobic fine particles of a silicon oxide whose surface is covered with a chemically hydrophobic group to be rendered hydrophobic.
