RESIN COMPOSITION AND MULTILAYER STRUCTURAL BODY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which is excellent in the gas barrier property and in the fabricability at low temperatures and to provide a multilayer structural body using it. SOLUTION: The resin composition is consisted of (A) an ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer and (B) a water-swelling layered inorganic material and is obtained by melting and mixing (A) an ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer and (B) a water-swelling layered inorganic material, with (A) the ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer being an ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer which contains a structural unit expressed by formula (1) (wherein, X is an optional linking chain except for an ether linkage; R1 through R4 are each independently an optional substituent; and n is 0 or 1) and preferably having a water content of 20-70% by weight.
