PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain microparticles and to provide a method for forming them, a method for using them in treatment and a method for delivering an active ingredient through the skin by using especially a needleless injection system. SOLUTION: The microparticles comprising or consisting of a therapeutic agent have a particle density of at least 80% of the solid therapeutic agent and a shape factor of 1 to 5.
