PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-treatment device and a standby tray with good alignment property of a sheet rear end on a treatment tray capable of certainly retaining even sheet with weak rigidity on a standby tray and and quickly and stably dropping off the sheet from the sheet rear end onto the treatment tray when standby is released. SOLUTION: The standby tray 10 is provided with left and right lower surface support members 10a, 10b for supporting both sides of the sheet and a rear end lower surface support member 74 for supporting a rear end lower surface. In the sheet post-treatment device, when standby of the sheet is released, release of the support of the left and right lower surface support members 10a, 10b and release of the support of the rear end lower surface support member 74 are performed.
