PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a mobile robot, performing voice recognition without being disturbed by operating sound generated by the robot itself. SOLUTION: This control device of the mobile robot includes: a behavior control means 7 for controlling the motion of a movable part; a quantity of state of motion detection means 5 including at least the moving speed; a voice input means (a microphone 1); and a voice recognition means 2 for discriminating a remarked voice from the input to the voice input means, wherein the operation of the movable part is controlled to decrease the operating sound in talking to the human being by discriminating the operating sound of the robot from the input to the voice input means.
