STEEL STRIP COLD-ROLLING EQUIPMENT AND STEEL STRIP COLD-ROLLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide steel strip cold-rolling equipment and a steel strip cold-rolling method which enable static aging treatment to be sufficiently performed between passes and enable especially an electric steel sheet with suppressed variation in magnetic characteristics in the longitudinal direction of the steel strip to be manufactured while the high productivity of a tandem mill is maintained. SOLUTION: The cold-rolling equipment continuously performs the cold rolling of the steel strip with the use of the tandem mill comprising a plurality of rolling stands, wherein a steel strip storing device for storing a prescribed length of the steel strip is installed in at least one space between the stands. The steel strip cold-rolling method is provided by which the cold-rolling is performed with the use of the above cold-rolling equipment while the static aging treatment of the steel strip between passes is performed when the steel strip is passed through the space between the stands where the steel strip storing device is installed.
