<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering wheel capable of enhancing the vibration damping performance while the anti-inflation performance is well maintained. <P>SOLUTION: The steering wheel 10 is structured so that an air bag device 16 is attached to the body 14 of the steering. The airbag device 16 is equipped with an airbag 31, a fixing member 32 whereto the airbag 31 is fixed, and an inflator 33. The fixing member 32 is provided with an opening 53 in a position confronting the inflator 33. A flange 61 is formed on the outside surface of the inflator 33. An oscillating member 62 is interposed between the fixing member 32 and the flange 61. The oscillating member 62 oscillates the inflator 33 with its natural frequency in the condition that the airbag 31 is not inflated and deployed. In the condition that the airbag 31 is inflated and deployed, the oscillating member 62 makes elastic deformation so as to block the opening 53 with the inflator 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
