APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CREATING MOUNTING DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method of automatically creating mounting data about a component selected by searching an electronic catalog of components.

SOLUTION: A data reading means 1 is so structured as to read image data and text data of components to be mounted by the component of the same kind from a component electronic catalog storing medium 12. A data creating means 2 is so structured as to create the mounting data based on the data about mounting positions and the text data by each component to be mounted which is acquired from the data reading means 1 and then output the mounting data from a data outputting means. The data reading means 1 is structured also so as to read the image data and text data by the component of the same kind from the component electronic catalog storing medium 12, and to display the image data and text data by the component of the same kind on a display 13 simultaneously to make them ready for searching and selecting.
