PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube preventing a getter for raising and maintaining a vacuum degree inside from scattering toward an electron gun side to degrade its characteristics. SOLUTION: The value of tanθ=(V5-Vsc)/2L is determined from a distance L between a hole diameter Vsc of an electron beam passing hole of a shielded cup SC and a hole diameter V5 of an electron beam passing hole of an inner electrode 21 inside a focus electrode G5, and the hole diameter Vsc, the hole diameter V5, and the distance L are determined so as to satisfy: tanθ≥0.08.
