PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment in which such harmful effect can be eliminated that a front panel hinders taking in and out of a tray without mounting a mechanical control apparatus. SOLUTION: A disk player 100 is provided with a tray 120 performing opening and closing operation between a position at which a disk 125 is housed inside a case 110 and a position at which the disk is exposed to the outside of the case, a front panel 130 freely opened and closed by hand between a position at which a course of opening and closing operation of the tray is blocked and a position at which the course of opening and closing operation of the tray is not blocked, an eject button 140 for giving instruction of opening and closing operation of the tray, and a control part 160 connected to a tray switch 170 and a panel switch 180 and controlling opening and closing operation of the tray in accordance with an opening and closing state of the tray and an opening and closing state of the control panel, the control part interrupts opening and closing operation of the tray when the eject button is pressed, and when the front panel is in a closed position.
