PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an image data collecting function, a bank switching function and the like at low cost, in a multiple sensor system for handling images such as a visual sensor or a displacement sensor by introducing minimum necessary new units to an existing system. SOLUTION: In this system, a sensor controller enables a first operation of storing image data acquired from a sensor head and/or measurement data obtained by processing the image data in a nonvolatile storage medium of a data storage unit, and/or a second operation of writing set data stored in the nonvolatile storage medium in the data storage unit to a bank memory in a sensor controller unit.
