PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boundary microphone with high water-proof performance and an excellent anti-wind noise characteristic, particularly suitable for outdoor applications. SOLUTION: The boundary microphone is configured such that a microphone case 1 includes a flat base part 10 whose upper side is open and a microphone cover 20 including many openings fitted to the base part 10 in a way of covering the upper side of the base part 10 and a microphone unit 31 is contained in the microphone case 1, a pile 23 is implanted over the entire face of at least an outer face of the microphone cover 20 including a joining part 20a with respect to the base part 10 of the microphone cover 20 by electrostatic flocking and water repelling processing is applied to the pile 23.
