EDITION DEVICE FOR DYNAMIC-IMAGE DATA AND METHOD FOR EDITING DYNAMIC-IMAGE DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for editing dynamic-image data capable of minutely setting an edition starting point and an edition end point easily. SOLUTION: In the method for editing the image data, frames at specified edition points are determined regarding the dynamic-image data compressed at every image frame group composed of a plurality of the image frames and stored in a storage section. The method for editing the image data has a group-unit edition-point selecting mode receiving a selecting operation input to the image frame group in the dynamic-image data stored in the storage section and a frame-unit edition-point selecting mode receiving the selection of one frame in a plurality of the image frames constituting the image frame group during a selection. The image frame corresponding to the result of the selection in the group-unit edition-point selecting mode or the image frame corresponding to the result of the selection in the frame-unit edition-point selecting mode are determined as edition points.
