PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay apparatus for radio LAN for reliably transmitting information to each of a plurality of terminal devices to which information should be transmitted, when information is transmitted in a communication mode in which an opposite party apparatus does not return response such as an ACK signal in broadcast or multicast and the like. SOLUTION: A first determining means 119 determines whether or not packetized data from another apparatus should be transmitted in the mutlicast or broadcast to the plurality of radio terminal devices connected to the radio LAN. A transmission control means 101 is provided which controls to transmit the packetized data from the other apparatus in unicast to all the plurality of radio terminal devices when the means 119 determines that the data should be transmitted in the multicast or broadcast.
