PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method finding an adhesion failure spot or a hardening failure spot of a sealant hardened on a sealing spot by using a simple inspection tool easily without differences among users, and also to provide a simple inspection tool used therefor. SOLUTION: This inspection method of an execution sealant is characterized by finding an adhesion failure spot of the sealant onto an adhering object or a hardening failure spot thereof by pressing the tip part of a pressing rod of a portable load cell with a prescribed load onto the sealant hardened on the sealing spot. This inspection tool of the adhesion state onto the adhering object of the sealant hardened on the sealing spot or the hardened state thereof is characterized by being the portable load cell with the pressing rod.
