PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microchannel chip system and a detection chip both improved in detection accuracy. SOLUTION: This detection chip 1 of the microchannel chip system has a carrier holding part 13 holding a carrier for carrying the second chemical material generating a signal by being reacted with the first chemical material, and a microchannel passage 10 equipped with a supply passage 14 for supplying a liquid material including the first chemical material to the carrier holding part 13. The system is provided with a carrier moving means (projection 2) for improving reactivity between the second chemical material carried by the carrier 9 and the first chemical material included in the liquid material by moving the carrier held by the detection chip 1.
