PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing a porous body in which pores are orderly arrayed, and to provide a method for producing a structure obtained by packing the pores of the porous body with a filler. SOLUTION: The method for producing a porous body comprises a step (A) of disposing a first material in which pores are formed by anodization on a substrate to form a first layer, a step (B) of disposing on the first layer a second material which has a hardness lower than that of the first material and an oxide of which is dissolved by an anodization step to form a second layer, a step (C) of forming a concave structure on a surface of the second layer, a step (D) of oxidizing the second layer, and a step (E) of subjecting the first layer and the oxide of the second layer to anodization.
