PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum extruded material superior in paint-baking hardenability, which reliably acquires yield strength applicable to a structural member such as an automobile, when heated in a condition equivalent to paint baking. SOLUTION: The 6,000-series aluminum extruded material comprises, by mass, 0.3-0.7% magnesium, 0.7-1.5% silicon, 0.35% or less copper, 0.35% or less iron, 0.005-0.1% titanium, further one or more transition elements selected from manganese, chromium and zirconium, in a total amount of 0.05-0.40%, while controlling a manganese content to 0.05-0.30%, a chromium content to 0.10% or less, and a zirconium content to 0.10% or less, and the balance aluminum with inevitable impurities.
