PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working method of a bearing device for a wheel capable of performing grinding work without generating swinging of a right angle degree of a brake disc mounting surface of a flange part of a hub and a bearing part of a shaft body part and also reducing working man-hours. SOLUTION: In the working method, when an inner member 11 of the bearing device for the wheel provided with the inner member 11 for forming the flange part 11a and an inner ring raceway surface of the bearing part; an outer member 13 provided with a flange part mounted to a vehicle body side and a raceway surface of the bearing part; and a bolt 18 for fixing a brake disc 17 and a wheel to any flange part of the inner member or the outer member is polished, the grinding work is performed by a grinding wheel 20 in which a surface 20a for grinding an inner side surface 11e of the flange part 11a of the inner member 11 and a surface 20b for grinding the raceway surface 11ba are molded to a right angle by one chuck.
