摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the machinable minimum diameter by effectively using the width of a chamfering grinding wheel to avoid interference between a lens rotating axis side and the grinding wheel and to facilitate control of the minimum diameter. SOLUTION: This lens grinding device includes: a means for obtaining the round edge position of a machined lens according to the data on the machining shape of the machined lens and obtaining the roughening and finishing machining data according to the above data; a chamfering means for chamfering using a chamfering grinding wheel having a conical grinding wheel surface for chamfering the corner part of the round edge of the finished machined lens; a locus operating means for obtaining the chamfering machining point P extending over the whole periphery according to the chamfering amount information and the round edge position information to obtain a lens-shape chamfering locus; and a machining data operation means for performing the operation processing for two-dimensional machining correction on the basis of the lens-shape chamfering locus to obtain a chamfering reference locus, fixing a center distance between the lens rotating shaft and the grinding wheel rotating shaft in each rotating angle on the basis of the reference locus, and obtaining the machining data composed of chamfering machining points at the position having the maximum distance from the virtual apex of a cone of the chamfering grinding wheel.
