PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method for forming a coating film which imparts cissing resistance and has a flexible finish effect, a water repelling effect, an antistatic effect and a sterilization and disinfection effect, and a coating solution used therein. SOLUTION: The coating solution 17 is obtained in a coating solution preparing process 16. The ratio (A/C) of the mol conentration A(mol/m<SP>3</SP>) of the anionic surfactant in the coating solution and mol concentration C(mol/m<SP>3</SP>) of the cationic surfactant therein is set to 3.6 or above and the mol concentration A of the anionic surfactant is set to 1.5 mol/m<SP>3</SP>or above. The dynamic surface tension of the coating solution 17 at the time of coating of a web 21 with the coating solution 17 becomes 40 mN/m or below and a film product 25 having cissing resistance and developing the flexible finish effect and the like can be obtained.
