The subject-matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that described in Specification 925,888, but the claims are concerned with the cooking of the raw potatoes at temperatures and for times lying within the area A, B, D, C in the drawing. The temperature should preferably be below 210‹ F., 190‹ F. for 60 minutes being particularly good. At the higher temperature slices should not exceed 1 inch in thickness but at lower temperatures size is immaterial. Specification 925,886 also is referred to. |
