<p>A device (10) for draining a coronary sinus comprises a first catheter (12) having a distal end (16), a proximal end (18), and a passage there through, the distal end (16) adapted to be placed in a coronary sinus, a second catheter (30) having a distal end (34), a proximal end (36), and a passage there through, the distal end (34) adapted to be placed in a right side of a heart, and a control system (26) for receiving signals indicative of a coronary sinus needing to be drained of blood, the control system (26) comprising a pump (70) for pumping blood from a coronary sinus through the first catheter (12) to the second catheter (30) into a right side of a heart.</p> |
