<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide terminal equipment which computes a time when the use by a battery is possible, more accurately. <P>SOLUTION: A portable terminal 1 driven by a battery 18a is equipped with a battery residual quantity detector 11a, an operating time computer 11b, a timer 11c, and an individual data memory 20a. Then, the portable terminal 1 computes the residual operating time with the operating time computer 11b, based on the data on the operating time counted with the timer 11c and stored in the data memory 20a and the data on the battery and the residual usable capacity computed by the battery residual quantity computer 11a, and the terminal displays it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
