<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound adjusting apparatus, a sound adjusting method and a program for sound adjustment capable of providing a smooth feeling of movement to a listener by preventing interference between a specific sound image and a moving sound image other than that. <P>SOLUTION: A DSP (digital signal processor) 30 is provided with a sound image processing unit 60 and a mixing unit 70. The unit 60 is provided for each of a plurality of sound sources, and has a sound image localization unit 61, a sound image expanding unit 62 and a limiting unit 63. The unit 62 performs expansion processing for sound signals of a bus 2 and a bus 8 so that the signals are interlocked with moving processing by the unit 61. The unit 63 turns OFF the output of the sound signal of the bus 1. Although sound effects from right and left speakers SP2, SP8 move while expanding with a center speaker SP 1 sandwiched when a dialog is localized near the center speaker SP1, since the output of the sound effect from the center speaker SP1 is OFF, mutual overlap can be prevented and natural feeling of movement can be acquired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
