<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method using a toner excellent in transferability and free of performance degradation even after long-term use. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming method at least comprises: a developing process of developing an electrostatic latent image formed on a photoreceptor with the toner to form a toner image; an intermediate transfer process of transferring the toner image formed in the developing process onto an intermediate transfer member; and a transfer process of transferring the toner image on the intermediate transfer member onto a transfer member, wherein the toner has toner particles including at least a binder resin and a colorant, and inorganic fine particles. An average surface roughness of the toner particles measured under a scanning probe microscope is 5.0-35.0 nm, and an average circularity of toner particles having a circle-equivalent diameter of 3-400 μm measured with a flow system particle image measuring device is 0.935 to <0.970. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
