IMAGE PROCESSOR, NETWORK SYSTEM, METHOD FOR TRACING IMAGE HISTORY, AND COMPUTER READABLE PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and a network system capable of tracing the history of various processing operations of an image of an original or the like in a simple and easy way.

SOLUTION: The network system connects a plurality of image processors each stored with history information concerned with images processed according to operation modes such as copying, scanning and PDL printing to a network, wherein the following image history tracing method is carried out. An original is scanned first and reference information added to the original is read out. Then an image processor on the network is accessed by using an IP address written in the read reference information, and information concerned with the original to which the reference information is added is acquired from history information stored in the accessed image processor.
