<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can enhance the performance effects by the waiting performance and a simulation program for the game machine. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine has a selection result performance selection part 42c which selects any out of the operation result performances of a plurality of kinds based on the operation of the selection button 11 made within the given operation reception time, the VDP 53 which carries out the operation result performance selected by the selection result performance selection part 42c after the passage of the given operation reception time and a waiting performance mode decision part 42b which specifies the residual time until the given operation reception time passes after the selection button 11 is operated and determines the waiting performance mode as the performance mode of the waiting performance to be conducted until the operation result performance is started from the specified residual time.
