<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retention volume to a printer head in which a spacing of a pixel part is narrow. <P>SOLUTION: A gate electrode 102, a gate insulating film 123g, a drain region 10d and a source region 105s can be extended to specified lengths along the depth direction in the figure regardless of a pitch of the pixel part 201. Therefore, the retention volumes Cgd and Cgs can be formed by utilizing an element structure of a transistor TR2 for driving, and the retention volumes Cgd and Cgs can be ensured even when the pixel parts 201 are arranged by narrow spacings. In addition, under a condition in which the sizes along the lateral direction in the figure of the gate electrode 102, the gate insulating film 123g, the drain region 10d and the source region 105s are made constant, by setting the sizes along the depth direction in the figure of the gate electrode 102, the gate insulating film 123g, the drain region 10d and the source region 105s at required dimensions, the volume values of the retention volumes Cgd and Cgs can be specified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
