<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the increase in the number of component parts for supporting a radiator and secure the heat radiating performance of the radiator by improving the body frame of a saddle type vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The body frame 11 of the saddle type vehicle is equipped with a left and a right main pipe 12 extended approximately fore and aft of the vehicle, a left and a right lower pipe 14 installed below the main pipes 12 in such a way as extending approximately fore and aft of the vehicle, a left and a right down-pipe 16 set over between the main pipes 12 and the lower pipes 14 in such a way as directed vertically, a rear reinforcing pipe 18 with the forefront coupled with the lower pipes 14 while it is extended aslant downward to the back from on the way of the down-pipes 16, a first reinforcement 221 to reinforce an upper join 95 where the main pipes 12 and the down-pipes 16 are joined together and to support the upper part of the radiator 51, and a second reinforcement 222 to reinforce a lower join 96 where the down-pipes 16 and the rear reinforcing pipe 18 are joined together and to support the lower part of the radiator 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
