PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of preventing image quality from decreasing owing to offset toner or a slip generated between a film and a transfer material. SOLUTION: In an image forming device which forms an image through an electrophotographic process, the fixing device includes: a heating means of fusing and fixing toner on recording paper; a pressure roller which is pressure-contacted with the heating means to form a nip; a seamless fixing film which is held at the nip and rotated and conveyed by the pressure roller; a holding means for the heating means; and a rotary guide member for the fixing film, wherein the fixing device has a grinding means coming into contact with the fixing film and rotating in contact in the same direction with the conveyance direction of the film at a speed faster than the conveyance speed of the fixing film to wipe and grind its surface layer.
